From ptt to airpot in 1hr.

From ptt, take a bus to Victory Monument. From there take BTS to Phayathai then Airport Rail Link to the airport. The last ride should take 25minute.
The last trip before going to Penang, I forgot to call my friend and tell her that I could not meet her at the ptt HQ. The terrible thing is that I only remembered this a few minutes ago. I have to call her tomorrow.

This last trip, we drove through traffic but were stuck about 100m from victory monument. We had to take shortcut through Rangnam and king power complex and got dropped off at the Rajaparop station.

For your information, if you plan to do fare adjustment on Airport Rail Link, tap your token at the exit and it will then tell you to approach the counter. This will have to change. People change plan all the time when they board the train.

The traffic is surpringly smooth on this rainy day. My driver was very talkative. He told me airport link taxi queue can cost up to 30k a year! That is too much for a normal taxi driver can pay. He recommends to get a outbound taxi from the airport departure level.

For faster check in, do the internet or phone then drop bags at counter J1. Gold card line seems to be long and it takes forever at the xheck in counter.

The immigration took me 20 secs at the counter. Big improvement. It is unfortunate that one has to try her/his luck which line to queue up. The officials should form only one queue for all counter. This way the queue moves more evenly and the passengers will not be stuck on one slow counter.
